Where they are part of the visit, AGE does a push-button check and a trip-time check. The push-button check uses the button on the device. The trip-time check uses test equipment. Both are expected to open the circuit that RCD protects. This is not a test that leaves the power on. Say which circuits can be opened, and when.
AS/NZS 3760 is the in-service inspection and testing practice used for this work. It is not, by itself, a Victorian legal duty, and it does not certify AGE. Construction and demolition sites are also read against AS/NZS 3012. There is no single test interval for every Melbourne workplace. This page does not set a Victorian interval.
